The Idol
Idols come in many forms, the
beautiful face, possessions or money. Mankind, in its own self perpetuating path
to reinforce its ideals that keep the masses in a spell, needs to constantly
recreate an ever-changing high-tech environment. The key is consumption. Trends
are created to ensnare mankind to worship the next best technological
advancement. We have always been warned about worshiping idols, but few connect
the dots. When your faith is second place in your life, you may be worshiping
idols. It is one thing to earn a living, no matter how many millions you earn.
It is another to sacrifice all in pursuit of the dollar a.k.a. (An Idol).
