Conformity

As people grow in spirit in this world our set of ideals, morals are molded first by our parents, and then by the schools and faith institutions that we attend or lack of. Finally we enter the world with a set of skills only to be molded by society. For some as leaders, that may be responsibility for others. When words are spoken from the established source, there tends to be the herd mentality, the unspoken word where all conforms to a pledge a doctrine a plan a way of life. Ascending thru the ranks bring loyalty, privileges, prestige and power, but a what cost. Are you the man you once started to be with great ideas of change, good, and for the people or a shell of a man whose morals and emotions are being pulled or influenced by another? As a wave of change sweeps humanity for the good in a time of direst, some tend to veer and agendas are skewered. They may rip at our moral fabric and we tend to legitimized sequences of events that affect others. As the good and bad races thru our minds and at some point we realize the balance may be tipped. Now we must ask that burning question do I conform and follow the pack or listen to my inside spirit, the voice of God and break into the unknown?
