Selling Your Soul
How many times have we walked thru the
experience call life and not thought about those three words? Some preach the
words to the masses in appointed positions, but only their lips are bound by the
words. Have you used devious means to attain the beautiful woman only to realize
people do get old? Is your courtship based on actions that you cannot tell your
children with pride? If the beauty fades with time will it be replaced by
bitterness? Did you advance in life by exploiting another’s weakness instead
of allowing your strengths to shine thru as the person that you are meant to be?
Have wished for something at the expense of everything you once believed in?
Some people have sold their souls as they took advantage of gullible
civilizations only to spread disease that killed the majority of an isolated
civilization including themselves. People have killed thousands for the king to
attain a resource such as gold only to their have lives lost at sea as God’s
hurricanes sinks their ships. Even today the people and resources change, but
the same lesson is there. How many would sacrifice all moral to be governor of
the Kansas Territories in the 1800’s, but wouldn’t think twice about the
same actions to be governor of Kansas today? A hundred years from now many would
not repeat the same mistakes, because it what seems to have value and status is
man’s illusion. When you die, your life’s tests are flashed before you, did
you sell out for something that man has placed value on or held fast to the ways of
God who
created all?
