Practicing What You Preach

As a born leader, you were given he gift of persuasion. To move the many with their faults towards the teachings of God. You were chosen to set the example and your position in life reflects that, a gift from God. We all make mistakes, but some are beginning to suspect a leader may prey upon the flock, where lifestyles no matter how you spin it, do not live a life which is preached. Do you not take from the middle class and poor in the name of God? The excuse of we need more to spread the word does not justify your actions in the eyes of God when you spend on self. The use of charitable foundations where those in control of the funds compensate themselves in a far greater proportion than those whom they help in the mega churches is now the norm. The excuse is, I have helped others, but it is the selfish gain that is the motive or driving force. Do you go on and preach that life is of giving while you live in luxury. Constantly validating the spending you and others you ensnare in your sphere of influence? That goes against the words your lips utter at the pulpit.  You are held to higher standard, as you were given a responsibility to guide others. Not to use your position to take advantage of the weak so that you can elevate yourself above others, the very thing you lecture against. You preach equality, but treat your wife as subservient. Your words state the church welcomes all, but you shun other races if to many attend, tokens are acceptable. We are so willing to accept what we perceive as righteous, but not like Jesus who went after the sinners. What is wrong with this picture? Most of all, reflection is given to the sanctity of a man and a woman, but some get caught with the same sex. Do not impose on others, which you cannot fulfill upon yourself. Allow for mistakes, we all make them, for we are not perfect like God
