Is there Anything Behind the word Faith?
As mankind seeming progresses towards the future,
knowledge and technology replace theological beliefs of the unseen. As the
educated looks upon the world, many wonder where is God? I believe in higher
power, but why should I believe in that humbling spiritual life. The monks that
chant and meditate, how do they contribute to life on Earth? I have seen the
crusades kill many in the name of God. How is it that men of the cloth take
advantage of trust? Now truly when all is in turmoil, how do you expect us to faith?
Your life is a test, you are shown many atrocities and great feats of courage and sacrifice in the world around you on a daily basis with the worst hidden by your media. Most of all you see that all on Earth good and bad is a result of mankind’s actions through God’s gift of free will. When you were born this was an unconditional gift, no strings. If God controlled your actions, then life would not be free. How would you learn if all answers were given? You get to choose right and wrong and your actions affect others to the ultimate price, death. For the meek like the monks there life here on Earth was never meant to make a change in others, but for them, to reflect on life’s simplicities and a closer connection to God. That is their choice, respect it. The Crusades had a duel purpose, under excuse of spreading the word of God some of mankind use the movement to enrich themselves and control others. This still occurs today, but the means and ways are more covert. Trust is earned, over time the true intentions shine thru the person, but beware of the basic actions of man; no matter the attire or facade they are men. Most of all, those of violence and absolute power always fall. Now in a moment of confusion do you really want to follow that plan? This is where faith comes in. Where all around you has failed a true belief in God will not. The more you let go of man’s rules, ( where the true goal of self advancement is hidden behind wealth, status, power, philanthropy, the pulpit, need for order out of disastrous event) the better you will be off. When your back is to wall and all that man has presented to as an option to survival has failed there is only one place to turn God. This is faith and this is you only chance.
