Gambling, the excitement of the chance and the rewards of seeing your labors multiply. This practice in itself is not wrong if you don’t see as a paycheck or take away essential resources from the family. The friendly family card is great; you may win a little or lose little in fun. The line is crossed when some members choose to use the game as a source of income while presenting the game as a friendly gathering. Do you fit this mold? We all have seen someone lose all major possessions in the pursuit of the dollar. Thus brought to the edge of despair the prayers are recited by all concerned and for the believers, their concerns answered. There is a great rush of happiness when again your life takes a turn for the better from the same source that brought you down. If you reference your past history those that have fallen away from the path of good, the chosen ones were always given a second to do right in His eyes. Did this happen to the Jews? When someone has led a life that others may second-guess, be happy for their rewards and that they will be brought closer to the Almighty. God helps those most in need first, so look on the positive side someone got a second chance and lets all hope the original lesson will not be repeated.
