Uncertain Times
During these uncertain times, the Christians are holding firm in their faith as moral issues confronts the family on a daily basis. They choose their friends and community leaders by a common theme that revolves around God’s word "The Bible". As new friends and leaders court us, how can I know if their intentions are based on the interests of the Christian family or am I just a stepping stone of another who wants to move forward by using God’s name in vain? The key is not the words that comes from one’s mouth, but their actions and do not be blinded by position or stature in life. Power, influence, and the very basis of society are things produced and created by man. Start by asking in one’s mind, how does the Christian is question presently treat their mate? How do they treat others who are different? Most of all, how do they treat their parents and if the have kids, look to them, because a true picture will be revealed in their triumphs or faults. One also has to consider that there are two parents. Who if any is the foundation of faith? It is one thing to project yourself, as a person of God and it is another to live it. Yes we all make mistakes, but watch for those who learn and move on. For those who pass the test, may your friendship endure and for others, do not be fooled, careful observation always reveals the truth even if the heart does not want to accept what is being exposed.
