Arrogance

For some it is pride in the accomplishments of your life, to others it is bragging or belittling another so that you will shine above all others around you. When improving the lives of others, God gave you a gift, talent, intelligence, diplomacy and in some cases beauty. When given the chance you present your gift to others, the question, did you do it out of concern for all or instead of pat yourself on the back and sending a message of how important you are and elevate yourself above others? All of us are guilty of this to some degree, including myself, which I am not proud of. We need to all step back and examine why we give advice and offer a change to others, is it from the heart without looking for or projecting self praise or is arrogance? Lets do it because we want to and take the stance when the task at hand is finished,  I can reflect upon these words, "I did to impress no one including the Almighty".
