A United Family
When discussing the family, how many times have you heard the words that
charity begins at home? Why am I being chastised from helping the world instead
of staying home with my family? Many in their quest to serve God put the horse
before the carriage. How can you expect to solve the problems of the world,
which are many without having your own household in order? We are so easily
fooled that the world problems we encounter can be solved quickly due to
experience and knowledge when traveling to a third world country. Knowledge
cannot replace caring; instant wealth cannot past injustices of poverty. Before
you seek the problems of the world get your own household in order. During times
on distress family members need an unwavering support from each other. It is
where dependence upon each is taken to a level where concern the family equal
concern for one’s life. No doubt, no excuses, one family where all move as
one. When turmoil hits it is a unified family that conquers all that is laid in
its path or the family divided that falls as its talent and resources are spread
thin due to self-serving actions. You make that choice. Put your family first,
then if you still have an effort for change, apply yourself to the world, you
are so needed.
