Evolving
from Hope, to Faith, to Trust in God
As
the world moves forward in what is considered progress, the concept of a higher
force to guide a person to better one's life gets lost in the pursuit of money
and earthly pleasures. On the other side those who live day by day to survive as the only way of life, rally around the eternal theme of hope.
Some have built their lives around the acquisition of assets at the
expense of your fellow mankind, with no or few considerate thoughts of another.
The many who always hope, and thru despair of the tribulations of life still
hope, but why, because a preacher instills that sense of hope thru their fiery
words? Both aspects of life are the essence of the beginning spiritual phases of
our existence on Earth, upon realizing that
there is more to life than the words and acceptance of another man, woman or the
status quo of power and wealth.
In the world of business and general life, some realize that there must be
a better way. Why do I have to undercut an associate to further my career? Why
should I constantly look over my shoulder, and maintain the attitude of trust no one, is this
the way of my
life?
When advancing up the corporate ladder some pick an assistance, a yes man with some ideas, but not enough to
challenge my position. Are we a society that raises the mediocre so that we are
not moved from our high perches attained by true merit or do we just present a smoke screen of
careful associations and self praise?
It is here that some move to the idea that there is hope for a better
life, in which those who have nothing and those who have been blessed with a
fruitful life agree upon a common theme,
the hope that mankind evolves to see the truth. As the spirit of self truly
develops to the next phase, faith.
It is here the individual takes a new step. Dissatisfied the progress of
society and its inequalities, they seek alternate answers presented from the rich
via media, promises of position and earthly wealth and consider the concerns of one, the
general welfare of mankind.
This is where you come to the awareness there must be a higher being
and without confirmation from our five established senses, this idea relies strictly on faith
without the request of personal needs intertwined as a condition with hope. Many contemplate the existence of a higher being and thru
the practice of some religion, have faith that all of what you do on Earth and
your good deeds will be rewarded. This step is great, but for some it is like getting
your feet wet and refusing to swim in the water!
As the veil surrounding our everyday existence is lifted, what is promoted by
man falls by the wayside and you wonder how was I fooled so long, but we must subsist
within this society. So we live on Earth, but do not belong or dwell upon the
ways on Earth established by the dominant men. What now? We start to give
up small parts of our life's direction to our inner guidance, thus undoing years
on training in life, established by men as most are now willing to try a new approach by letting go,
rather than to repeat the same mistakes, with its different presentations in the
circle we call life. Trust in God
is done in small steps with each individual proceeding at a comfortable pace.
When all is given over you will realize that you have loss nothing of your free
will, but now your desires will be true, your quest to achieve will be focused
and fruitful, you will become who you are, but miss the usual pitfalls of life.
The Father is here to guide and enhance your life, not hold it back like most on
Earth who present a facade, but in the end deliver little unless it benefits
themselves. Trust in God, it is the only way.
