Why Should I Continue to give my all to Others Whom I have Shown the Path, but do not Follow?

As parents, mentors, and friends with words of advice, some are so quick to dismiss those you have guided to a path of spirituality and success by your life long deeds of sacrifice. The lessons of your life to be transferred to show those whom you care for, a clear sense of direction, but ideally not to repeat your mistakes.
The key to life is to learn by mistakes. Are you that perfect as not to need help, only to fail sometimes? It is not your place to judge that which you have been chosen to guide, because a life is a total of successes and failures. When a life's plan was not followed to your specifications, is it wrong or just a slower approach as the young life takes chances in directing his or her future. Your task is to add another member to human society that will make God proud of your effort. In order to learn, mistakes must be made so corrections can be made towards the positive. Reflect sometimes on the many words of guidance given to you. Of course you knew it all, but looking back how many decisions in your life you would have change in hind sight? Let's not raise the standards for all mistakes made during learning your experiences good or bad and apply them to others? When expected to guide a soul given to you, have the tolerance to always be there no matter how many failures as long support still has a positive balance on all others. If not, support from afar as to not bring others down in response to your effort. All are familiar with the commandments, so if God set an Earthly limit, most including yourself would have been sent on your way due to many failures if forgiveness was not God's agenda, follow His example.
